How to Change Your Gmail Username

Changed the name of your business recently? Got married and changed your last name to your spouse's? While you can't change your email address, you can change your username that's connected to your address to change how people see you on their contact list. Tips
    • Remember that you can't change your e-mail address. If you want a new e-mail address, you'll have to create a new account.
    • Changing your username will only show on the new messages you'll send. It won't affect those that you had previously sent.
    • If you switch back to the first username set on your Gmail address, the newest one will get deleted.
