    When we decide to look up the IP of our connection on the Mac, whether WiFi, Ethernet or Tethering, we always end up going to a web page or System Preferences in the Network section. It turns out that Apple has placed a series of shortcuts throughout OS X that allows streamlining these managements in an easy way. Finding the WiFi IP on your Mac is one of them and is super simple and fast.

    To know the IP address of the WiFi connection of your laptop or Mac desktop, just press the ALT key on your keyboard and keep it pressed while you click the WiFi connection in the top menu bar of your desktop , you will find an additional menu that will open down with detailed information that includes the IP Address numbering.
